Duplicating a harddrive

If you use Linux you don't need Norton Ghost.
mkhybrid, dd, cpio, dump, and even cp, 
if used correctly ( hint /dev/[hs]d[0-15] )
can replace those 3rd party Windows add-ons 
and provide the same functionality.
