Running on Windows or Linux? Depending on your requirements, VNC
(http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc) might work. Lets you control Unix/Linux
and Windows servers from both Unix/Linux and Windows clients.

The drawback is that the X server software runs on the server -- you just
VIEW from the Windows machine. If the server is low horsepower, this will be
much slower than running the GUI stuff on the Windows machine.
