Handspring and USB

I have been using the USB cradle for the visor for over a year now. I
started with kernel 2.3.99pre9 and am now using 2.4.0test10. I guess the
two things to make sure of is that you have the correct usb root hub
driver uhco or ohci and the serial converter driver for the visor driver
compiled as modules or into the kernel. After that all I did was point
coldsync or pilot-xfer to /dev/usb/tts/1 and all has worked like a champ
ever since.
