pay rates

Jonathon,

A good site I just came across the other day is www.brainbuzz.com   It has a
salary survey for the main 20 job markets.  It doesnt break down into the
specifics of  Unix Admin but it may provide some help.  Also,  I think it is
very difficult to place a true market salary on a position.  You can get a
"basic" idea from these types of surveys but I don't believe they are a true
assessment of the salarys out there. For example, take the Phoenix market,
you could get an entirely different salary for the same person at one
company verses another company.
