Office97 under WINE

Can anyone tell me how well MS Office 97 [specifically Word] runs under
WINE?  I checked the WINE site and two users gave it a numerical rating,
however I'd like to know specifically how well the app performs and
maintains formats in the Linux OS.

Project wise I'm tied to using Office97 at the present.  Also does the Linux
version of Word Perfect do a reasonable job of converting/maintaining Word
formats?
