I know more about WINE than I do about using perl with ip chains.
Check out http://www.winehq.com.  They have been down  (at leaste for today),
but they may have docs.  There is to be a $HOME/.winerc file that you need to
configure so it knows where to find the original Windows directories and which
hard drive has them - Plus many other things.  Try typing "man wine" and press
enter (no quotes, of course).  This will show you how to use wine, and
introduce you to the man (manual) if you have not done so already.  Good luck.
