And, in MS's defense I think most companies are still trying to figure
out what OSS means.  While we're all happy with the Linksys decision, in
reality it makes corps more conservative in adopting OSS, they don't
want to make a "Linksys error."

FWIW, Nokia hasn't been all wonderful with the 770 development.  Yeah,
they choose Linux and Open Sourced a lot of it -- but if you look at the
early maemo-devel archive you'll see most of it was complaining about
how Nokia was handling Open Source developers.  They've come a long way.
Nokia actually hired a bunch of OS people, and now they're really
starting to get it.  Not all peachy, but tons better.  They actually
presented and discussed next-gen plans at GUADEC this year.  Hopefully
MS will take the same path.

There is reason to be cautious, the history is there, but that doesn't
mean we shouldn't help them grow into a respectable company :)
