The building in question is actually south east of the green arrow

circle in the road.

Topic: "ThinkThis, the recursive presentation" by Ed Nicholson

We will have a demonstration of the system and a discussion of how it is
all put together and self-contained in a wireless access point. That's
correct, embedded in a wireless access point.

If you have a laptop with wireless connectivity, please bring it along.
For full participation in the meeting content, please have Java VM
installed also. Those that don't have a laptop can share screens with
those who do.

Ed says of his presentation:

"Getting beyond the slide projector mode of presentations is the mission
of ThinkThis. The idea is to replace them with an interactive "Wall of
Information" that fully entangles both presenter and participant.
Intended to work with only the the resources that come to each meeting,
ThinkThis is an assemblage of free and open source tools designed so as
to be improvable with each use. With each presentation, the best
information assets are bundled up for take-away so that each participant
may benefit from, and in turn, spread the value.

"Well that's the plan, anyway - very alpha stage as of 20071206"

-------------

Wireless and wired Internet access are available.

We have a candy machine and soda machines that will take your money for
refreshment. You are welcome to bring your own food. No alcohol please.

Alan
