I don't know if the description email was on the list or not. I suppose not, since you asked the question. I will look in my email archive when I get home because I know it came across my "desk" last week.

Ruby can do system call interception? Wow! Really, the Ruby discussion between you and Carl was full of good info. I don't think we are small enough (or big enough?) for an "official" language. If someone (Carl) wants to do a presentation on something and wants to present in Ruby, that is fine with me.

Yes, I think the website could stand to be undated in a more timely fashion. Don't blame Victor though, he can only post what he is told and many times he isn't told until late.

I don't know if I should be the "agenda" guy but I am willing to help out. Voluteer organizations do not always feel the urgency to do things professionally. We would look better to the public if we did, though. Well, this is perhaps for discussion on the discuss list or in a meeting.

I will see what I can do to get more detail on the meeting posted BEFORE the day of the meeting.

...using Ruby? :) (Come'on...that's a *little* bit funny!)

What email? Was it listmail or (semi)private?

My point is...wouldn't the PLUG web site have something regarding the
topic? Here it is 7 days to the meeting and no topic, no agenda? Who's
not running this again? I want to congratulate 'em on a job well done :)

At least you've got the facilities in order Alan. Perhaps its time that
you take charge of the agenda? :o)

Take Care.

Rob!
