PLUG Security Meeting

Meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month, starting at 7pm.

Please take note that the security meeting is moving to a new day starting this month.  It will no longer be held on the second Tuesday and will from now on be held on the 3rd Thursday.  So this month's meeting will be on the 18th of January.

So on the 18th, please come join the Phoenix Linux Users Group at their Security Session and watch Aaron Jones tell us all the security related craziness that happened over 2017. We will be discussing major breaches, attacks, legal events, and all number of events from 2017. This is a round up of the biggest events to rock the cyber security world over the past year. We will attempt to explain the how for many of these events and the what in relation to actions we can take in 2018 to better protect ourselves. Hope to see you there!

The meeting will start at 7pm at The Desert Breeze Substation.  People start arriving as early as 6pm, so if you would like to help setup and/or chat for a while, feel free to arrive a little early.

The Desert Breeze Substation is on Chandler Blvd and Desert Breeze Blvd, which is half way between McClintock and Rural.  It is very close
to both the south 202 and 101 freeways.  Public transportation is
available into the late hours.
